Sanity Check If the Standard and Formatting toolbars are displayed on the same row, you can separate them into two separate rows so that more buttons are visible. Click Tools, Customize, and then click the Options tab. Click Show Standard and Formatting toolbars on two rows. Click Close to close the Customize dialog box. |
Quick Tip If either the Notes pane or the left pane is too large or in your way when you are creating a slide, you can resize it. Click and drag the bar dividing the left pane from the Slide pane (called a splitter bar) to make the left pane smaller. Similarly, you can click and drag the splitter bar between the Notes pane and the Slide pane to resize Notes. However, if you make these panes too small, they will disappear from view, at which point you can click and drag them back into view. |
